ANN: SmartEiffel 1.2r0 released

A little more than one month ago, I announced that I would be working on
a 1.2 branch of SmartEiffel

The first release is out. You can download from:

As you can read in the release notes, this is a boring release; most of
the work this month has been setting up development resources (website,
mailing list, repository, archives, ...), real work on the
compiler/libraries should start now and luckily we will have a useful
release next month (we will be working on a monthly release schedule).

I also added some automated testing process, available in the SVN
repository. As soon as 2.x compatibility increases, I will add Mike
Meyer's test suite to it (after checking licensing terms), and the
official SmartEiffel test suite will be added if/when it's made public.

If you have a little time, please test downloading and installing it; it
will help ensure there's nothing broken during the import and
re-releasing of SE1.1
