For me, it's just another point of view. Please let me explain how the team worked on this subject. The very first step was to write the examples in the tutorial, before anything about storable is done. The purpose was to get an user point of view. Those examples helped to determine wishables properties. Then the storable class interface was about defined and implementation could start. All the examples in the tutorial are not only to demonstrate how to use the storable tool, but are designed to see if everybody agrees on the proposed principles. You can give your opinion on those examples if you want. Now, because of this approach, tutorial examples are here, even if not everything is implemented.
