I tried your branch, and I still see the same behavior:

* rebar_erlc_compiler:clean is mis-indented only when I set
  (global-font-lock-mode 0)

* the multi-line <<"string">> in rebar.erl is mis-indented with and
  without (global-font-lock-mode 0)
