Strange. I don't think I've encountered this, certainly not consistently
enough for it to become noticeable as a problem.

erl-choose-nodename is a better place since it at least doesn't break
multi-module debugging. I am not sure it's the *right* place
though. What if you want to debug across multiple modules? I've never
tried that, but I think it's possible. Your patch would probably break
that.
