  found the bug. turned out the buggy bit was written by none other than
myself :< divine justice and all that.

  it didn't occur to me that M:module_info() will behave differently
depending on whether M is interpreted or not.
   i had also assumed that filelib:wildcard("") -> [], which also turned
out to be wrong (it exits).

  i'm testing the fix now, will commit later today.
