Hi, Vladimir G. Sekissov <[email protected]> had written support for Erlang code in Semantic (http://cedet.sf.net/semantic.shtml) which I maintain. (Semantic is a parser generator infrastructure.) The semantic project is undergoing changes and I've been looking for some amount of guidance in porting his code to the new API's we are working on. I then found Distel. I'm just trying to find erlang-mode for Emacs and some simple erlang test code so I can make sure I don't break anything when I port. I was hoping not to download and install all of Erlang. In reading about Distel it occured to me that it could be used as a back-end to Semantic's token database. If any of you have used semantic for coding, you might consider this as a spiff way to get more out of semantic for your hacking needs. Examples include smart completion, eldoc-like support, advanced imenu/speedbar support, and use via ECB. (http://ecb.sf.net).
