Anyone using percept?

Is anyone successfully using percept nowadays? It doesn't understand
'spawned' trace messages, which generates a lot of warnings, but I'm now
getting "Internal Server Error" when I try to point my browser at the web
server. I guess the server is misconfigured somehow. it's not even calling
the percept_html module which is supposed to generate the web pages.
