It's about knowing that I can use those machines and know what all the software is doing. I can have a pretty good understanding of what is going on from the line chord to the keyboard. It's about what I can do with cheap hardware. I'm no programmer, unlike y'all. So, nearly everything I do with it is a reflection of just how much I understand about computing as a whole.
