I should have also mentioned that it's free. You don't need to buy SwiftForth to use it. VentureForth is a SwiftForth turnkey and there are both Windows and Linux versions available, for free, on the IntellaSys website.

This includes compiler and simulator for the s24 FORTHdrive, the s24 datasheet, and the VentureForth Programmer's Manual, by Elizabeth Rather and the staff of IntellaSys. I suggest you all take a look.

By the way, I don't think I've mentioned, I'm on the staff of IntellaSys now, and had a small part in producing some of the software and documentation.
