i remembered the old bindists are also on complang.tuwien. first to try was 0.4.0 binonly, the latest binary for linux. it lacks gforth.fi. with no matching source, only a dos bindist, so i tried that. it segfaulted after printing :1. next to try is compiling 0.7.3, in the morning.
