I'm seeing this too, with Android 4.1.2 & gforth itc 0.7.9_20191115 (presumably; i only know because i updated gforth on this and another device at almost the same time.) A version of gforth from 2014 was fine.

On Android 6.0.1, the problem is not present with gforth itc 0.7.9_20191115.

I don't have adb at present. I'm debating with myself whether I want to reinstall Android SDK; it took a very large bite out of my SSD with no HDD install option. I wasn't really planning to 'do' Android on these two devices anyway. I got them out today while considering PostMarketOS, then saw this mail & thought I'd bisect a little.
