Rob, and anyone else trying to build under Mac OS X, The goo manual says that the Boehm gc is needed to install: > GOO requires Boehm's GC to be installed as a shared library on linux > or under the source dir GOO_DIR/gc downloadable from > http://www.hpl.hp.com/personal/Hans_Boehm/gc/gc_source/gc.tar.gz . There are a number of different versions in that directory. 1. Which is best (fewest conflicts/bugs?) for Mac OS X 10.2.4 (i.e., latest rev of Mac OS X)? 2. Where should it be installed under Mac OS X - as a shared library somewhere (/usr/local/lib?), in GOO_DIR/gc?. 3. Any changes to the makefile or installation process to make it work as goo expects under Mac OS X? Raffael Cavallaro, Ph.D. [email protected]
