I've encountered this same problem on other wikis I'm on. MediaWiki,  
which the goo wiki uses, has a spam blacklist [1] which is pretty  
effective in preventing most wiki spam if you set it up and keep the  
list of URLs reasonably up to date.

On that note, I went to the wiki to try and remove the spam, but  
doing that never seemed to work. I also couldn't seem to create an  
account. Is the site working for other people?
