The asBoolean method do nothing different than what the compiler 
shortcuts. This is more about runtime meta programming, meaning being 
able to replace or add a asBoolean method at runtime through the meta 
class.

As such CompileStatic should not be impacted, since it has no runtime 
meta programming... Fact though is... it is impacted, because the code 
called makes the call to asBoolean dynamically... at least 
asType(Boolean) would do that.

Of course if you use the default methods and give boolean a new 
asBoolean method and expect that to be called for Groovy truth, you are 
not getting that in either mode.
