   Hi,

I looked into this issue and tried to locate the “omitting parentheses” documentation within the current groovy-website repository.

It appears that since this issue was opened (2019), the Groovy documentation structure has changed significantly. The user-facing language syntax documentation (including command expressions / omitting parentheses examples) is no longer maintained directly in this repository, but is now generated and published under https://docs.groovy-lang.org/.

I could not find an existing section in this repo that currently documents omitting parentheses (e.g. println-style examples) where this enhancement could be applied cleanly.

I believe this issue may now be outdated and would be better addressed by updating the generated Groovy language documentation instead, or by migrating this issue to the appropriate documentation source.

Happy to help further if guidance is needed on where this enhancement should live now.
