Style guide (was: Checking directory state using Groovy)

Just in case someone happens to be checking this guide now based on my recommendation...

... I've noticed it is a bit outdated; whomever who is using the current Groovy 3 might want to check also http://groovy-lang.org/releasenotes/groovy-3.0.html for things like === instead of the ugly (and sometimes rather counter-intuitive) is, !in/!instance, and more.
