I think part of the problem is that it takes a lot of effort to maintain
Leksah and most users prefer other editors, so more energy is being
diverted to themt.

I myself have been using Vim for decades now. It's really powerful, and
it's available nearly everywhere (including Mac).

Editors like Vim and Emacs are not going away. We might as well make the
process of using them with Haskell as easy as possible. That would, IMO, be
worth investing into.
