There's only one ffi.

But if you want an ffi _frontend_, I'd point out that GreenCard is
portable, stable, provides a clean Haskell-style interface (e.g.,
result codes are readily translated into Haskell exceptions), and
generates portable code.  Of course, I'm biased since I'm one of the
authors.
