I do not really like the name 'matrixExcursion'. It is so technical a
name. Since quite often the code passed to a matrixExcursion is
in form of a do notation, I found the name locally quite appealing ,since
then your
code looks like:
locally = matrixExcursion
colorFigure n = do
locally $ do
currentColor $= Color4 1 0 0 1
translate$Vector3 0 0 (-n/2)
square n
locally $ do
currentColor $= Color4 0 1 0 1
translate$Vector3 0 0 (n/2)
square n
