Erratum to my last message:
I don't know what went through my head but I used windows' "search in
files" feature instead of greping, needless to say, I did find many
instances of DONT_WANT_WIN32_DLL_SUPPORT...
So I'll be looking into it.
But if you know what could be going on, feel free to end my pain.
