Hugs Macintosh install problem

I've run into a snag trying to install Hugs. I'm trying to install it on 
a Macintosh running OS X 10.1.4. I downloaded the unix version of Hugs 
and followed the directions. Running 'configure' from /src/unix finished 
normally, however, running 'make' from /src produced the results I've 
included at the end of this message. Please let me know if there is an 
obvious solution.

I looked into the precompiled binary but it appears that it is built 
only for 10.2.x and I'm not quite ready to upgrade.
