Hello Scott,

The graphical interface has a bug, setting the options in the registry;
to get WinHugs back to work, change the registry entry
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Haskell\Hugs\WinhugsNov2003\Options
Remove the -F"" " from the end.
Change the settings only with the :set command to prevent this from
happening again.
