 In the case of SCRIPTFILE it's not clear what it should mean, and it would
 steal an identifier.  For example, with the default setting ($$),
 {{{Text.PrettyPrint.HughesPJ}}} would fail to load.

 It looks like doing it for STRING should be OK, though.
