Made the change here: 'src/runtime/Kernel/Makefile' as follows.

${SOBJS}: ${OBJDIR}/%.o: %.c
        ${CC} -S ${CFLAGS} -o - $< | sed '/.align 32/s/32/4/' |\
                 ${CC} -c -x assembler-with-cpp ${CFLAGS} -o $@ -

Now I have:
