I saw that too! But nowhere does it advise or even strongly suggest
using the binary versions! :) Anyway, my first stop was:

At the bottom of the page there is a paragraph under the heading
"Windows Systems" which recommends installing binaries. I thought
that was for M$ Windows. Shouldn't that paragraph be at the top of
the page? Where it can't be missed ... :)
