Consider this source example:
Foo := 100
Bar := "abc"
100 type println
"abc" type println
Running it outputs:
Foo
Bar
Is this really intended/expected?
If I comment the Foo/Bar definitions line, then I get what I would expect:
Number
Sequence
I can understand that in code like "Name := Object clone", names
starting with an uppercase letter automatically gets a "type" slot
with that name. But this seems to also be the case for constants
values like 100, and "abc". Is this desired in the design of the
language or is it a technical limitation or unfortunate side-effect of
some design decision? Maybe there is no way to distinguish between the
two use cases (constant values and Object clones intended to be used
as classes)?
