Hello everyone

I am developer of MeteoInfo software in which Jython is used for script ability. The big problem is Jython 2.5 or 2.7 does not support Chinese coding, so I have to think about changing the script language to Groovy. But occationally I found Jython 2.2 can support Chinses coding by using OpenJump, which is quite stranged. I have to use Jython 2.2 in MeteoInfo at present because many users of MeteoInfo are Chinese.

So my question is why the higher version of Jython lost the ability of Chinese coding support after 2.2? If the function has been implemented in version 2.2, it should be easy to be implemented in new version of Jython.

I don't know if there are some developers fo Jython in this mail list, so they can consider to improve. And anyone else has similar experience?

Thanks for your attention!
Yaqiang
