Jython file system

Hi,

I have a question because I'd like to embed the jython into my 
application that uses a virtual file system, provided by Apache VFS. As 
far as I understand the jython uses a OS file system like hard disks  
but is there a possibility to wrap existing classes to provide an access 
to own file system, it can be ftp, webdav or even other implementations. 
Maybe there are prepared solutions to adapt jython to any filesystem, 
actually I looked up javadoc and I have not found anything.
