The previous eight events were held respectively in Taiwan (2003-5), Beijing (2006), Tokyo (2007), Seoul (2008), Macao (2009), and Singapore (2010). ATVA 2011 will be held in Taipei, Taiwan on October 11-14, 2011 and will feature keynote talks and tutorials by the following highly regarded scholars: . Hardware track: Edmund M. Clarke (Carnegie-Mellon Univ.) . Software track: Daniel Kroening (Oxford University) . Theory track: Orna Kupferman (Hebrew University) ================ IMPORTANT DATES: --------------- . Conference: 11-14 October 2011 ================== SCOPE OF INTEREST: ----------------- ATVA 2011 solicits high-quality submissions in the area of automated verification and analysis. The topics of interest include, but are not limited to: . Specification and verification techniques for finite and infinite-state systems . Algorithms and tools for verifying models and implementations . Program analysis and software verification . Hardware verification techniques . Analytical techniques and verification for real-time, hybrid, or stochastic systems . Deductive, compositional, and abstraction techniques for modeling and validation . Analytical techniques for safety, security, and dependability . Testing and runtime analysis based on formal verification technology . Verification methods for parallel and concurrent hardware/software systems . Verification in industrial practice . Applications and case studies ================== PAPER SUBMISSIONS: ----------------- ATVA invites research contributions in two categories: Regular research papers (with 15 pages page limit) and tool papers (with 4 pages page limit). Contributions must be written in English and in LNCS format, and must present original research which is unpublished and not submitted elsewhere (conferences or journals). The proceedings of ATVA 2011 is expected to be published by Springer as a volume in the series of Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS).
