Hmm, that's not my interpretation of events. The way I see it, Netscape 
was killed by Microsoft shipping competing software with the dominant 
operating system. Rather than killing the company, releasing the source 
code is what made the software survive. This is probably exactly the 
reason why people here have been pushing you to set conditions for you 
releasing your source code: to prevent the product from being lost.
