It shouldn't take a long time to link the luabind library itself (AFAIK), but if you're heavy on the binding, the compilation and linking times will definitely increase as LuaBind is so templated. I would imagine LuaBind and LTCG is a beast unleashed too ... you wouldn't have that switched on, would you?

Subject: [luabind] Application when using luabind takes loooooong time to link.

Hi,

Just started using luabind.

I must say it's a wonderful tool.

But I'm having one major glitch.

I'm using MSVC 2008 SP1.

I've built luabind (version 0.8.1) into a static library.

And I'm using it in my application and linking to the static library.

My only problem is that my application takes nearly 7 (painful) minutes to link (yes, just to link).

Is there anyway I can work around this?

Thanks
