I wonder how much of an influence PHP had with Rasmus Lerdorf's initial app=
roach of it being for quick prototyping "but actual code should still be in=
 C/C++" so similarity to C/C++ made sense, and only later the focus shifted=
 to general-purpose programming aka. "you can use these scripts to do anyth=
ing and everything."
