The problem is: the wx module has never worked in LuaCheia!  I was
working on it long ago, but had to abandon it due to other
commitments.

If you (or anyone else) wants to take this on, I believe there is a
release of wxLua that is newer than the one in LuaCheia CVS.  The
newer wxLua would probably be easier to get working in LuaCheia, due
to more modularity.
