So far, I've found that adding the options "-cc-opt -fno-pie -link-opt
-no-pie" to the mlton command line allow the old mlton to work with the
new gcc. I'm now trying to figure out where I should stick these options
in the mlton build process. (if anyone knows, let me know!)
