That is even more interesting.  If we go this route then is there even a 
need to keep 'djb' in there?   TAI is an international standard, djb just 
implemented a 64 bit format, known as TAI64 (http://cr.yp.to/proto/tai64.txt).
Maybe it would be better to just leave it as 'date.tai', or even something
like 'time.tai' since it actually deals with time rather than dates.
