It looks like Moto has the same problem as qmail with recent versions of glibc, since 2.3.1 I think. Red Hat and Debian both are now shipping with this new glibc, which apparently changed something with 'errno'. See this post from the qmail list for an explanation: http://article.gmane.org/gmane.mail.qmail.general/13960 Here is what I get when trying to compile Moto on Red Hat 9: cd tmp; ar -x /root/moto_0_19_1/lib/libcodex.a gcc -g -O2 -Wall -rdynamic -L/root/moto_0_19_1/lib -o moto main.o lex.motoyy.o moto.tab.o lex.pp.o motopp.tab.o lex.ryy.o readdefs.tab.o dl.o env.o ftable.o mc.o meta.o motoc.o motod.o motoerr.o motofn.o motoi.o motoppi.o mototree.o mototype.o motoutil.o motov.o motox.o motofunction.o motoextension.o pp.o motohook.o pputil.o tmp/*.o -ldl -lfl tmp/number.o(.text+0x6c): In function `parse_float': /root/moto_0_19_1/src/codex/number.c:71: undefined reference to `errno' collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make[1]: *** [moto] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/root/moto_0_19_1/src/moto' make: *** [all] Error 1 [root@dragonfly root]# rpm -qa|grep glibc glibc-devel-2.3.2-11.9 glibc-debug-2.3.2-11.9 glibc-common-2.3.2-11.9 glibc-2.3.2-11.9 glibc-profile-2.3.2-11.9 Cory -- Cory Wright Stand Blue Technology http://www.standblue.net/
