It said to report this bug, so here it is. Also in attached 
zip along with the code and makefile.

I think this bug is the same as #1084559. It is already
fixed in CVS. Normally the development version will be
updated in the next two hours. I will then close the bug,
together with instructions for how using that version.

More details. A much simpler example causes this crash. See 
attached.
