Hello, Following a discussion on linuxfr.org today about Java and opportunity of NullPointerException, I have discovered Nice, and found it interesting! - actually, it seems that java 1.5 and Nice share some, such as genericity and foreach - did java 1.5 spied on you? :) Anyway, personally a Java programmer at my job and amateur of different/better programming languages, I am quite interested in Nice. I went to the examples of code section (on the wiki) and since it's rather short and there is no syntax highlighting, I'm taking this opportunity to advert http://pleac.sf.net/ , a website I built with the aim of reimplementing code examples taken from the Perl Cookbook by O'Reilly in other programming languages. I have personally written a large part of the Ruby implementation, and there are already tens of contributed implementations. You Nice enthusiasts might consider adding a Nice implementation of pleac. If you're interested, I let you browse the website. See you. ------------------------------------------------------- The SF.Net email is sponsored by: Beat the post-holiday blues Get a FREE limited edition SourceForge.net t-shirt from ThinkGeek.
