how to compile correctly

I download the example of fibo
make directory
d:\project\fibo
project>nicec -a fibo.jar fibo
but only get the following message

    -client	  to select the "client" VM

    -da[:<packagename>...|:<classname>]

                  disable assertions
    -esa | -enablesystemassertions
                  enable system assertions
    -dsa | -disablesystemassertions
                  disable system assertions
    -agentlib:<libname>[=<options>]
                  load native agent library <libname>, e.g. -agentlib:hprof

I don't know why.  
may be nice not compatiable with jdk1.5?
