Hi

I'm writing to invite you (in particular those who worked on the
design of Nice, and it's compiler) to join our discussion group on JVM
language design.

http://groups.google.com/group/jvm-languages

We would love your input--in particular, Nice came up in the last
couple of days when a language author asked for ideas about
implementing multimethods on the JVM

http://groups.google.com/group/jvm-languages/t/437c43aac87bc5d2

unfortunately, though we know that Nice has multimethods, we haven't
been able to find extensive documentation on how that's implemented in
the Nice compiler (in particular none from the authors of the Nice
compiler).

The group has been active for a few months, but we already have a
large range of participants, including the developers of Kawa, JRuby,
Groovy, CAL, Rhino/JavaScript and Ng among many others. If you do sign
up, you're welcome to announce yourself and interests on this mailing
thread
http://groups.google.com/group/jvm-languages/browse_thread/thread/c1891734aecb434d

We also encourage people to post their own thread introducing their
language work.

Your experience and insight would be very welcome.

Best regards
Patrick
