Installing OCaml-Top in Ubuntu fails

HiI'm trying to install the OCaml-Top editor in Ubuntu 14.04 using the OPAM package available from Ubuntus repository (that is version 1.1.1). However, OPAM barfs at me and I have a hard time figuring out what causes the error. How do I approach figuring out what went wrong?
