No, that is not correct.
int list is a type whose values look like this: [1;2;3;4]
(string * int) is a pair type whose values are a string in the first component and
an integer in the second, e.g., (“hello”, 42)
The composition of both, (string * int) list is thus a list whose
elements are pairs of strings and integers. Values thus look like this:
[(“hello”, 1) ; (“foo”,42)]
