Hi,

The mailing-list link you gave mentionned gtk-qt-engine. I don't use
kde so I can't test but to be fair to lablgtk, I've seen several
people complain about bugs which only happen with gtk-qt-engine.

It may be possible to disable gtk-qt-engine for your application, not
sure and not the best solution but that's probably worth taking a look
at.
