I just saw this thread:

And I get the same result: if I download the code from sourceforge (
http://sourceforge.net/projects/ocamlnet/), compile it and install it.
The function have_posix_shm returns true.

I however get an error at the compilation step (make opt) but I think the
error happens after the compilation of the Netsys module so the installation
script still works for Netsys.
I'll make another post on the mailing list to show the compilation error.

But this does not explain why the packages fail to work and why the compiled
sources work.
