We actually have some coding rules, although there is no document where they are written up: - Choose logical and unique module names. For example, the modules of the component cgi have all the name prefix "netcgi". For new components it is best to simply take the component name as prefix. Names of components and modules are often built with "net" as prefix to avoid collisions with other people's modules. And of course, for purposes of "library identity". - All modules must have a separate and commented mli interface file. Comments must be done using ocamldoc. - The existing Makefile/configure infrastructure must be used. If features are missing, we can add them. - Don't use -pack. It isn't supported on all platforms. These rules are quite minimum, the rest is discussion.
