Hello Perl Community, I am currently using "v5.8.8 built for MSWin32-x86-multi-thread" and would like to upgrade to v5.10. Since this is for my company use, I really don't want to screw this up. I would appreciate any help or suggestions you may have. From what I have read (release notes, etc) I should do the following: 1). ppm install PPM-Profile 2). ppmprofile save C:\profile.xml 3). uninstall Perl v5.8.8 4). clean install Perl v5.10 5). ppm install PPM-Profile 6). ppmprofile restore C:\profile.xml #This should restore all of my non-standard packages into Perl 5.10 correct? I also have Perl Dev Kit v8.1 installed on my system, from what I read in the documentation, this should still work with Perl 5.10. Do I have to reinstall this Dev Kit after installing Perl v5.10? I also heard that Perl Dev Kit v8.21 is available, how can I "update" my Dev Kit to the latest v8 version?
