To whom may concern (@ActiveState):<br>
<br>
The module XML::LibXML is failing to build on PPM since v1.71 (current<br>
version is 2.0014). While looking at the logs on<br>
<a href=3D"http://ppm4.activestate.com" target=3D"_blank">http://ppm4.activ=
estate.com</a>, I see that the following environment variables<br>
are being set:<br>
<br>
LIB=3D...<br>
INCLUDE=3D...<br>
<br>
But, I also see that Makefile.PL suggests setting the following variables:<=
br>
<br>
LIBS=3D...<br>
INC=3D...<br>
<br>
I suspect this was a change on v1.71 and it=E2=80=99s possible that by just=
 changing<br>
=E2=80=98LIB=E2=80=99 and =E2=80=98INCLUDE=E2=80=99 to =E2=80=98LIBS=E2=80=
=99 and =E2=80=98INC=E2=80=99 it will work again.<br>
<br>
I hope you can at least try it soon, I=E2=80=99m using AS Perl 5.16 x64 and=
 there=E2=80=99s<br>
no successful build of XML::LibXML for it. This is a very important module<=
br>
for any Perl project dealing with serious XML data.<br>
<br>
Thanks in advance!<br>
<br>
<br>
Best regards,<br>
