Hello Gordon, In terms of taxonomies, one widely used but general one is the NCBI's - e.g. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/Taxonomy/Browser/wwwtax.cgi?id=3884 I don't know enough about the plant side taxonomy to say if this has the granularity you want for cultivated beans?
