cbrandtbuffalo writes "The Perl Foundation's Conferences Committee has
selected Chicago as the venue for YAPC::NA::2006. The proposal was
submitted by Josh McAdams and Pete Krawczyk, both members of Chicago.pm.
We hope for another great YAPC::NA in 2006! Congratulations to Chicago!
Details will be found in the coming months at the [0]YAPC::NA website."

[0]Garrett Goebel writes "The [1]Kansas City Perl Mongers (KCPM) are
emerging from a long hiatus from meetings. We'll be meeting at the Planet
Sub on 50th and Main on Tuesday Nov 8th at 7pm and Saturday Nov 12th at
3pm. Topics may include but aren't limited to Perl Best Practices, SVK,
and CGI::Builder. New faces are welcome."
