[0]draven writes "The original deadline for talk proposals has passed,
but we still have a few open slots in our schedule. We are happy to
announce that the deadline for [1]submissions of talks to the [2]Nordic
Perl Workshop 2006 has been extended.
The workshop will be held in Oslo, Norway, on the 15th and 16th of June,
2006. The main topic of this year's workshop is 'Managing Complexity'.
The new deadline for talk submissions has been set to May 1st."

[0]cog writes "Lisbon.pm will host another tech meeting on Thursday,
March 9th, starting at 21:30.
Talks (in Portuguese):
- Catalyst - Web Framework (João Gomes)
- Simply POE (Pedro Melo)
- When not to choose Perl (Miguel Duarte)
The meeting will take place at [1]log's facilities (there's a map in that
link, and also a link to Google maps). Drop me a line if you're thinking
of attending (for logistic reasons)."
